Scan results: If a thyroid scan show that the nodules uptake the radioactive iodine then that is less of a concern than if they do not uptake iodine(cold nodules). An endocrinologist who manages thyroid disorders is the md of choice in these matters.

Usually low risk: Your bio says graves disease and hypothyroid. In a graves gland, there can be elements of hashimotos at the same time, and these can give the appearance of "nodules". See your endocrinologist. (s)he will do an ultrasound, and if the "nodule" is suspicious, will do a biopsy. Overall, the risk of a thyroid nodule being cancerous is low.
