I have 3 cats i'm allergic to. i also have outdoor allergies. zyrtec (cetirizine) isn't working this spring. what can i do. also no insurance.

Get rid of cats: I hate to tell patients to get rid of their pets, but if you are allergic to cats and have 3 of them, it may be time to find them another home. On another note...If you have been on zyrtec for awhile, try switching to Allegra to see if that helps more. Generally i would also recommend an allergy nose spray like nasonex, (mometasone) but that may be more of an issue without insurance coverage.
