Various causes: There may be a difference in left: right blood pressure readings as a normal variation, typically 10 points or less, but has been reported as higher in the medical literature. Vascular causes of a right >left blood pressure difference include supravalvular aortic stenosis, aortic arch disorder, or problem in the left subclavian artery causing a "kink" in left sided pressure.
