Vitamin D: Serum 25(oh)d levels do not always indicate the amount of vitamin d stored in body tissues. The level you have is moderately low. The recommended daily allowance for your supplement is 400-800 ngm/l. You can double your intake if you want, but get out into the sun more often, that will help. Good luck.

Vitamin D: It is too low to maintain your level and very low to improve your level. It is safe to take 5000 to 10000 units/day. You should also stay on this indefinitely. Not for just one month.
