Low vit D: Your treatment is appropriate. Will take at least 90 days to correct. Would repeat the labs then. You may want yo give your doc this reference. Middleton L, Stack BC Jr, Riggs AT, Bodenner DL. Vitamin D deficiency: asimple algorithm employing weekly administration of 50,000 IU of vitamin D.
