Mechanical back pain: Back pain that doesn't radiate and gets worse after standing is usually musculoskeletal back pain. When we sit our iliopsoas muscles get tighter and then when we stand that tightness causes pain. Usually, a back extension program is a quick and easy fix. But see your doctor for treatment options.

Low back pain: More likely the small joints in your back. Not likely to be a disc. Stay fit, watch for any pain radiating down the legs, increased pain while seated etc and see a pain specialist for proper evaluation.
