Although this particular tooth may not be a problem, you may have others that require treatment. The gum tissue may retain food/plaque and cause inflammation and potential damage.

Schedule Consult: Best thing to do is to schedule a consult with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and have a radiograph taken to evaluate the position of this particular wisdom tooth, as well as the other three you likely have but that you haven't noticed yet.
