A member asked:

My endocronologist called and said he needs to put my thyroid meds up more is this why i haven't gotten my period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Difficult to say: There can be a number of reasons why a woman may not get her period. Although the thyroid can affect the period pregnancy is a more common reason, meds, stress and other diseases can affect it also. If it has not come in more than 6 wks you should probably be evaluated for different causes.
