Specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Both & Oral Surgeon: Both should be made aware. Also a full work up by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced film (ct or mri) would be wise to establish current condition and then have "baseline" comparisons to evaluate for progression radiographically. This may be something that will require surgical intervention in the future, so to have a multidisciplinary approach is always a great idea.

Both: Additionally your daughter may need the help of a qualified orthodontist; often joint dysfunction is exacerbated by malocclusion.
