Depends: Depends on how it was handled. Closed red & casting, rodded, plated, ex fix. All have different outcomes that can lead 2 continued pain. If it is healed solidly retained hardware can loosen & = pain u need 2 b fully reevaluated 4 the cause. C ir surgeon 4 new imaging & labs 2 find the cause.

It's possible.: If pain persists, it may be from arthritis, muscle strain, pinched nerve or nerve inflammation, circulation problem.Follow up with your dr. Take care!

Possible nonunion: The tibia is notorious for not healing. It's possible that it never healed and you've developed a nonunion, for several different reasons. I'd make an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to evaluate why you're still having pain in your tibia.
