Getting the scan could serve as a good baseline study. Then, when you repeat it once you are in menopause, you will be able to compare it and see how much, if any, bone loss has occurred and if it needs treatment. Discuss it with your doctor as well. Best of luck to you!!

Agree with Dr. Ferranti. To help your cause, start doing regular weight bearing exercise to strengthen you bones and to forestall bone loss. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get Covid vaccine. Wish you good health!
