Physician's call: The bacteria may be contaminants (i explain to my male medical students how it's often impossible to get a midstream clean-catch on a female), or you may have what's called "asymptomatic bacteriuria" which many (most?) physicians nowadays think it's best not to treat. Get a consult if any doubts.
