Trigger points: Unlikely. Trigger points are associated with pain and referral patterns of pain, numbness or tingling. Weakness can cause trigger points, but trigger points don't cause weakness. I would advise that you find a pain and weakness specialist (pm&r doc) to find out what is causing all three symptoms (weakness, tremor and trigger points).
