Eye discharge: If this is a short term problem, you may have infectious conjunctivitis (viral or bacterial). If this is a longer term problem, you likely have blepharitis or allergies. If you have itching as a symptom, it is most likely allergy. All of these are treatable, but you should be seen by ophthalmologist or optometrist for diagnosis and treatment.

Also, if you wear contact lenses stop wearing them and see your ophthalmologist soon, since this may be a sign of infection.
