There are a couple: of possible explanations for this. This dot may represent the earliest form of decay--demineralization of the enamel. Acids from plaque, food and beverages may begin to dissolve the tooth enamel. A defect during tooth formation may also be the cause, or even excessive fluoride consumption during tooth development. Your dentist must help you with this. Good wishes:)
