I have had a bump behind my two top front teeth for as long as i can remember it just recently began to swell anything i eat or drink makes it throb?

Mother nature has put a extra pad of tissue over the hole to make it end up looking like a bump, which it is but not a bad bump. In your case you may have bruised, cut or who knows what, but i suggest you give it a couple weeks, before pursuing dr.
