Other way: It may be that teeth are coda aged, or you have some gum issues, and therefore they react to the hydrogen peroxide. Stop using the kit and see your Dentist for a safe alternative.

Very common: Tooth sensitivity often occurs during early stages of bleaching treatment. You will have to give it time and the sensitivity will likely subside.
