Baby teeth: These crowns are safe and are commonly used when there is significant decay in baby teeth. The best thing that you can do for your son's oral health is to concentrate on improving his diet. Reduce sugary drinks and foods. Brush his teeth at least twice a day. Continue regular dental care.

Completely safe: There are no health issues with stainless steel crowns unless your child has an extremely rare nickel allergy. If so, you would have seen the allergic response already. Dentists have been using stainless steel for a century without difficulty. Think about the millions of kids ; adults wearing stainless steel braces. Beware of fear-mongers. Trust your dentist to help, not harm, your child.

Good: Ss crowns have been used for many years and are safe. Not the best looking however will be lost at age 6.
