My 2yo has a temp of 101 but i cannot get any tylenol (acetaminophen) in him. will he be okay with no tylenol (acetaminophen) and a 101 fever? i'm worried.

Yes: Fever is a symptom of illness. 101f is a low grade fever. If he does not appear uncomfortable, there is no need for tylenol (acetaminophen). Otherwise, give him luke warm water bath from head down for 20 minutes will drop his temp 1+ f. You can try feverall suppository if he vomits the tylenol (acetaminophen). Check with his pediatrician then.

Fever Fears!: We know that parents worry about fever or height of fever. Fever by itself doesn't cause the baby much harm, its the body's mechanism to fight infections. However a high fever makes the child feel worse, flushed cheeks, heart beating fast, shallow breathing, poor appetite - these symptoms improve by bringing the fever down. You could try to use rectal tylenol (acetaminophen) in the same dose as oral tylenol (acetaminophen).
