Lots of questions!: Your endocrinologist will likely want to know about many different symptoms you may be experiencing, and how long you've had them, and whether you've ever had thyroid problems in the past, or family with thyroid problems. After an exam, they may want to get some confirmatory tests, or go ahead & start you on thyroid pills with detailed instructions on how to take them.
