Why and how can a person have high thyroid antibodies (hashimotos), hypothyroid symptoms but normal tsh, T3 (liothyronine) and t4? How does the body pull this off?
TSH, T3, T4 all normal TPO antibodies are 2200. Was told it's Hashimotos and put on 15mg Armour thyroid 3 months ago. I'm confused if the TSH is normal then why the Armour? Have all symptoms of hypothyroid. Also now my period is 2 weeks late. ?

I have hypothyroidism. Elevated TSH. Normal T3 and T4. Antibody test was negative. Endocrinologist still refers to it as Hashimotos and says that's "most likely" the cause. Why would that be if I have no antibodies?
