Many forms: Blow into a paper bag. Perform repetitious task such as raking. Exercise like running. Watch a movie. Call someone and talk to the person. Go to hospital or call your doctor or go to urgent care center.

Stop panic: Panic attacks is like a snowball. The fear of having a panic attack can often precipitate one and when it does it grows and accelarates in severity. The best way is a combination of medication therapy combined with cognitive therapy that trains you to identify the triggers of an attack making it easy to then stop it. In time usually medications can be reduced if not stopped.
