Head injury: Do you have any recent head injuries? It sounds like you might have had a seizure. Your ear could be bleeding because of injury to the ear canal, ear infection, or something more serious like a tumor or skull fracture. Please see your doctor.

See a physician: Bleeding from the ear is never normal. Need evaluation to rule out more sever cause of your symptoms including mastoiditis, which is a more serious type of ear infection, that can cause more severe difficulties.
