Tolerance: This is not uncommon. You may have developed tolerance, which is no uncommon for opioids. It may be time to change the dose, or the frequency of patch changes or switch medications. You will need to discuss this with your provider.

Pain mangement: You can develop tolerance to any narcotic. If fentanyl patches are no longer effective, please discuss it for medication change.
