What are possible reasons that my chest rattles after baby sleeps on it?

Sleep: You mean after the baby has slept on it all night or while the baby is sleeping on it. Symptom sounds very vague, chest "rattle" rule out musculoskeletal causes if there is hair line fracture of your rib, unlikely, I am letting my imagination run a bit wild here, need more details and please be careful if you sleep with your baby on your chest and both of you fall asleep, please ensure safety.
