Advance Solid Foods: Infants this age grow rapidly & require adequate nutrition. Solid foods are routinely introduced at age 6 mos. As infants advance w/ solids, breast feeding gradually becomes supplemental. Nighttime feedings are still fairly common at this age. If your baby is progressing well with solids, returns to sleep after night feed, has normal growth/development at doctor visits, then no action is needed.
