Possibly: It depends on what type of hepatitis you have. If you have hepatitis b and you are pregnant, then your obgyn and hepatologist should discuss giving you and your newborn treatment and vaccinations. If you have hepatitis c, most of the time this is not passed to your child during birth. Simple blood tests can be checked after 2 years old. Hepatitis is passed through blood, so avoid bloody contact.
