A member asked:

What are the chances of my child contracting hepatitis a if not vaccinated? question re: my child

Flip a coin: We have poor defined data on individual risks. It is certainly more than if vaccinated. Given the droves of un-immunized illegals invading the western states who carry these diseases, locality risk is unknowable. The disease can be mild or deadly and the vaccine is our only present means of prevention. Participation in day care/nurseries/school increases exposure risk.
