Very sick: Usually the right lower quadrant pain that was getting worse and became severe making it difficult to walk or sneeze/cough would have temporarily improved slightly only to be followed by severe, diffuse abdominal pain, fevers, chills, vomiting, distension, confusion and eventually death. There are many variations but if you are generally feeling well chances are you do not have a ruptured appy.
