Cushing's syndrome: Cushing's syndrome is a condition where your body makes too much cortisol (a hormone). A blood draw, 24 hour urine measurement of cortisol, midnight salivary cortisol measurement or a test called dexamathasone suppression test can be done to give you the diagnosis. Often time, you need multiple or all of the tests above to make an accurate diagnosis.
