Maybe: There are many skin nerves that allow for skin sensation. After hernia surgery, these nerves can temporarily become numb with numb or tingling skin sensation in the skin of the groin below the skin scar, and also in the skin of the upper inner thigh. Usually resolves over several days or a few weeks.
