I had an inguinal hernia repair 3 months ago, everything was good till one months ago where the groin started to feel this tingling pain, together with numbed leg, foot and arm. what could be wrong?

Unsure: This is a strange constellation of symptoms, and is probably not related to your inguinal hernia repair. If these symptoms persist or get worse you should be evaluated. If you have worsening numbness, weakness, confusion, or loss of bowel or bladder control you should see a doctor immediately

Posssible recurrance: The local and leg pain can be due to a small neuroma or recurrance. The arm pain is probably unrelated but could be an IV site. The patient should follow up with the operating surgeon to either have injection of a neuroma or to be follow for a possible recurrence.

See your physician A: Your arm numbness is very unlikely due to the inguinal hernia surgery. HOWEVER: numbness in the arm AND the leg & foot may be a sign of a vascular malformation in the brain. See your physician ASAP.
