Can you catch mouth cancer by drinking out of an infected person's cup?

No, duobtful: Smoking, chewing tobacco and drinking alcohol can lead to oral cancer. A recent study showed that over 90% of oral cancers were associated with combining heavy smoking and heavy drinking while a virus is also suspected in oral cancer, drinking from the same cup without other contributing factors is not a risk for oral cancer.

No: Oral cancer is caused by a mutation of the cells in an area of your mouth, and that is usually the result of carcinogens affecting those cells. It is not passed from person to person like the common cold.
