Strength exercises: In general building lean muscle with strength and core exercises will provide better overall weight control because lean muscle burns more calories than fat. How long this takes will depend on how aggressively you exercise. In general maintaining a low carb/high fiber and high protein diet is best. Consume about 10-12 calories per pound of your desired weight. This is only an estimate.
