A member asked:

I've got a little fever but no vomiting or any other signs of appendicitis could it still be it or something else?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gastroenteritis?: Fever in the absence of any gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain) would make acute appendicitis unlikely. Viral infections, gastroenteritis, gall bladder problems, and upper respiratory tract infections can also cause fever. I would check with your doctor if symtoms persist.
