Would it be acceptable to be in the same car with a baby who has chickenpox?

Depends: Any immune child or adult can sit close to a baby with chickenpox. You will not risk a repeat infection as you might with strep throat. However, a pregnant woman who never had chickenpox would be at risk of infection & transferring it to the unborn baby.
