Fiber.: And i mean a supplement like metamucil or benefiber, not "eat more grain". You want your bms to be soft and formed. In the short term, soaking in the tub (with bath salts is better), vaseline, and cleaning up with soap and water will get the piles to shrink. Long term, if fiber doesn't satisfy you, only a surgeon can safely remove piles. If you're bleeding, see a doctor immediately!

Fiber supplement: The reason you have hemorrhoids is the pressures in the anorectal canal are too high. Fiber reduces the pressure by adding bulk to the stool and regulating the correct amount of moisture in the stool so that bowel movements are easier. Miller's bran, unprocessed whole wheat grain, is a great source of fiber, but metamucil or its equivalent is probably the easiest to take.
