Going to see my cardiologist today for the first time, due to my ultrasound on my leg. what questions would i be asking? what is he looking for?

Questions: Ask what you asked here. You should know why you are sent to see the consultant and after the consultant does your history and exam, ask what the consultant thinks and why. If testing is needed ask why and what the possibilities are as well. Ask about your treatment if treatment is needed. An informed patient can help themselves better than an uninformed one.

It depends: It depends if the ultrasound was done to evaluate the veins or the arteries. If looking at the veins, it was looking for a "blood clot". Yu would want to ask why they would suspect one, and what you can do to prevent one. If done to look at the arteries, it would have been done to look for decreased blood flow from blockages. Again, ask why you would have blockages in the blood supply to the leg.
