Common due to weight: I have heard this quite often and it is not always easy to explain. Most commonly itis due to weight gain and is occasionally associated with peri menopausal changes although you are young for this but would be accompanied by other vasomotor (hot flashes) symptoms. Other causes include hormonal changes either endogenous (thyroid function) or exogenous (pills). If one sided seek medical evaluation.
