A member asked:

What to do if i am getting breast implants in three weeks i don't know what to get silicone or saline. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pros and Cons: Both are acceptable. For silicone: PROS: Less of an edge, so harder to "feel" them when touching breast; no rippling; lighter; "more natural" contour (slopes down at top) -- this varies CONS: Require slightly larger incision, not size-adjustable, cost more (about $1000 depending on brand/size/type), requires MRIs in future for breast screening instead of mammograms. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE -- WAIT!
