Sould not be ignored: Stasis dermatitis, or discoloration and swelling in the lower legs due to inadequate venous drainage, can lead to problems in the future. The propensity for stasis ulceration a in this area increases as the stasis becomes more chronic. Using support type hose or custom fitted venous support type stockings can help the venous system work. Also allowing gravity to work in your favor will help.

Stasis: Sounds like you are headed for chronic venous stasis. You need to be fitted for compression hose to fight the gravity forces. This should help or a pnuematic one can be ordered.
