Torn meniscus: All people that have knee arthritis have a complex tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. A knee scope will likely not fix your problem as the symptoms you are having are likely the result of your degenerative arthritis and not the meniscus. The meniscus tear is a result of the altered biomechanics from the arthritis.
