Most likely: Many factors are taken into consideration before deciding if you are a candidate for surgery. Just based on the -8 you could have a procedure such as lasik, prk, or an implantable lens. Be sure to research the procedure as well as the ophthalmologist for experience. A full eye exam with the necessary testing along with talking to your surgeon can help you decide.
