Post op vision: Catarct surgery replaces the cloudy lens in the eye with a clear lens, but may not eliminate the need for distance or reading glasses. If the surgery went well, it should be possible to get an exact glasses prescription at 2 months that would help reading (rather than just using very strong readers). If the vision cannot be cleared with glasses, more evaluation needs to be done to find out why.

Need a refraction: First have to see if correct lens or any residual refractive error post cataract surgery. Next, need a clear cornea, clear intraocular lens, healthy retina, to see well. Check tear film, lighting, also if prescription balances with the other eye.

Glasses too strong?: If your distance vision is good without glasses then +4 is too strong for reading or computer. Try +2.00 for computer and 2.50 for reading. You can get those at any drugstore. If that doesn't work you need to go back to your ophthalmologist and see what the problem is.
