A member asked:

Could our original eye sight power to be restored after the lasik surgery ( maybe in a 1 or 2 year time). what are the probabilities ?

Yes: But depends on the power of your perscription, cornel thickness and corneal topography. Lasik can only correct distance or near vision but not both.

Depends: Do you mean to regain your pre- lasik correction (refractive power)? Lasik corrects your refractive error by ablating the corneal tissue. The tissue is removed you can not add it back. If its over or under corrected then the person can have enhancement to correct the residual problem if there is enough corneal thickness. .
