TOOTH BRUSH AND COLD: Recent studies had proved that it is unnecessary to toss tooth brushes if a person is suffering from strep throat or cold. You only get rid of them if the bristles are worn off.Keep using your tooth brush while you are taking antibiotics for the strep .Just follow the regular cleaning and serialization after you use it.You could just dip it in 3%hydrogen peroxide.

Change brush often: It. Is a good thing that you are maintaining good oral hygiene during and after your infection. Invest in a few toothbrushes, and have them on hand during this kind of illness and don't be hesitant to switch out daily. For times while you are healthy i recommend switching to a new brush monthly so as to keep the brush bristles efficient.
