Mgt: The toothbrush may be a source of infection, I would advise watching for fever and the development of other Strep associated symptoms.

Not smart: Sharing a toothbrush is never a good idea, especially if one of the people involved has a virulent bacterial infection. Make sure both children have their own toothbrushes. Make sue antibiotics are taken exactly as directed until all the medication is gone. Replace toothbrushes 4x/year, at the start of each season. Replace toothbrush after recovering from illness.

Get a new toothbrush: To prevent contamination, label and clearly identify each child's toothbrush, so that sharing of toothbrushes is avoided.
