Good Idea: Tooth brushes should be changed about every 3 months. However, strep throat has bacteria that you do not want any possibility to spread back into your mouth. You may want to explore ways of disinfecting your tooth brush also.

Yes, after: As soon as you are better, throw away the tooth brush and start using a new one. If not, it is possible to re-infect yourself. This should be done anytime you have a cold also. Change your toothbrush approximately every 3 months after that on a regular basis.

Yes: Strep throat is caused by a bacteria called 'streptococcus'. If it's in your throat, its in your mouth. Would be likely to find it also on your toothbrush, so...In the trash!
