It should be ok: These are usually superficial lesions and bleeding settles quickly if you are well otherwise I would suggest not to try to irritate the patches and leave the medicine to do the job.

OK: You irritated the ulcers formed caused by your bacterial infection. Next time let them heal without disturbing them. Throw your toothbrush away and get a new one. See your Dentist or a specialist Periodontist to have your supporting gums and bone evaluated.
