Possible: While specific allergies do not run in families, a tendency to allergies can. Since your daughter's father has allergies, there is an increased chance that she may develop allergic reactions as well. Allergies typically develop following repeated exposures to something.

Family allergic: If both parents are allergic the odds are that 60-70% of the children will be atopic. But there is no real correlation with what the parents are allergic to.
